Head Varsity Coach Riley Kerber

Head Coach Riley rowed for 10 years competitively at St. Andrew Rowing Club and University of Louisville. Once she finished her time at UofL, she felt our community was in need of a juniors program. With the help of LRC and Coaches Emmy and Audrey, LRC Juniors were born. Coach Riley desires to foster a love for sport in her athletes that she found herself through rowing. Coach Riley is also a USRowing Level 2 certified coach with First Aid, CPR, and AED certification. She is going into her 5th year as Head Coach at LRC!

Head Novice Coach Evey Peplowski

Coach Evey joined LRC in summer of 2024 and going into her second year leading the Novice Program. She rowed for 4 years competitively at the University of Louisville after being recruited as an out of sport athlete. We are so grateful for Coach Evey's enthusiasm, knowledge, and readiness to take on any challenge. She is leading our novice program and we love to see how LRC grows with her on our side. Coach Evey is a Level 1 certified coach with First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.

​Assistant Coach/Boatman Robert Ryan

Coach Robert joined LRC in spring of 2024 and has been keeping up with all of our equipment ever since. Coach Robert has coached white water rafting, downhill skiing, and learned to row at LRC. We are excited to have him on the team for his positivity, energy, and unique perspective from having taught other sports as well. He works with all of our rowers and makes sure everyone has the equipment ready in the best possible shape. Coach Robert is a Level 1 certified coach with First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.

​Assistant Coach Paul Tomkiewicz

Coach Paul joined LRC in fall of 2024 and has been a great asset to our coaching staff. Coach Paul rowed for University of Pittsburgh, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and coached for Jordan Lake Rowing Club. He comes to use with a medical background with great knowledge on keeping our athletes healthy. He works with all of our rowers and brings his high energy everywhere he goes. Coach Paul is a Level 1 certified coach with PALS, First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications. ​
